Crashes - Two motor vehicle crashes held up traffic Friday night. The first happened about 5:30 on the Lyon Street Bridge. Four cars were involved. No one was injured. A 2000 Chrysler was towed. No further information was available. At about 6:20 p.m. two cars collided on the Pacific Boulevard overpass. According to police, a white 1992 Honda Accord rear-ended a teal Dodge Caravan. The driver of the Honda reported neck pain and was transported to Samaritan Albany General Hospital for evaluation. No other injuries were reported.

Marijuana charges - Guy William Zola, 40, of Brownsville was arrested Friday on charges of fourth-degree domestic assault, manufacturing marijuana and possession of marijuana. Initial reports indicate Zola has a medical marijuana card but was producing far more than allowed. Zola is scheduled to appear in court Monday.
