Vincent James Cappalo Jr., 56, died peacefully Saturday surrounded by his loving family at Heartland Hospice House in Wilmington, Del.

He was preceded in death by his father, Vincent James Cappalo Sr.

He is survived by his mother, Audrey Cappalo of New Castle, Del.; daughter Jennifer Biancucci and husband Mark of Clarks Summit, Pa.; son Jeremy Cappalo and wife Jennifer of Milton, Fla.; brothers Jeffrey Cappalo of Claymont, Del., and Christopher Cappalo of New Castle, Del.; grandchildren Spencer, Ella and Max Biancucci of Clarks Summit, Pa.; and fiancé Dee Merica of Boothwyn, Pa.

A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Fatima, 801 North DuPont Highway, New Castle, Del. Friends may call at the church after 10 a.m. Thursday.
