Lynn Tyler Patterson, 60, a lifelong resident of Lebanon, died of cancer Tuesday at Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital.

Lynn was born in Lebanon, the son of Herbert and Joyce (McVay) Patterson. He attended school in Lebanon and graduated from Lebanon High School in 1966.

Lynn married Colleen Baker in Lebanon on Nov. 23, 1988.

He was preceded in death by his father, Herb Patterson, in 2007; and brother Steven Patterson in 1990.

He is survived by his wife, Colleen Patterson of Lebanon; mother Joyce Patterson of Lebanon; son Tyler Patterson of Lebanon; sister Cheryl and husband Terry Courtney of Warm Springs; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Leonard and Cora Baker of Lebanon; sister-in-law Joni and husband Randy Haley and family of Lebanon; and sister-in-law Leonora and husband Joe Wood and family of Newberg.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Lebanon I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Huston-Jost Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
