Louise B. Cook, 91, of Harrisburg died Wednesday in Eugene.
She was born in Hillsdale, Okla., to William and Leona (Sickels) Barnes. She lived in Linn County most of her life.
She married Merle W. Cook on June 8, 1940, in Halsey. She was a primary school teacher in Lane County at Vida, Leaburg and Coburg, and at Norton School in Lancaster.
She is survived by sons William Walter Cook of Sammamish, Wash., and Robert Merle Cook of Harrisburg; daughter Darlene Ellis of Madras; brothers Lyn Barnes of Halsey and D. Barnes of Watsonville, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Merle on March 23, 1993.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Murphy-Musgrove Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Alford Cemetery, with a celebration of life potluck afterward at Charity Grange, on Bond Butte Road in Harrisburg.
