William Ray Freeman, 51, died March 23 in a car accident.
He was born in Eureka, Calif., to George M. Freeman and Eva N. Karlin. His life partner who joined him in death was Paula Di-Anna Clary Smith.
Freeman enjoyed seasonal employment in the Christmas tree farming business. He also worked as a jeweler in Albany and in the food service business for Samaritan Albany General Hospital.
He is survived by his mother, Eva Karlin; three children; and four siblings.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Albany American Legion.
