Rosaline Constance (Kirsch) McCorkhill, 73, of Sweet Home passed away at Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital with her family and friends by her side.
She was born in Blunt, S.D., to William H. and Elizabeth (Apley) Kirsch.
Connie attended school in Blunt, and came to Oregon in 1957. While at Eugene Business College, she met and married Dick McCorkhill on June 20, 1960, in Eugene.
Connie loved the Lord and served as Sunday school teacher, superintendent and church treasurer for many years. She loved working with children, and was camp cook for many retreats for the high school kids in her church. Her many hobbies included crocheting, quilting, reading, creating greeting cards and playing table games.
She is survived by her sons and their wives, Jim and Tamara of Sweet Home, Rod and Tammie of Sweet Home, Mike and Corky of Arlington, Texas, and Derek and Marsha of Tualatin; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren with one on the way; and four brothers, Leslie of Idaho, Fritz of Salem, Norman of El Paso, Texas, and Dennis "Pee Wee" of Florida.
Her husband, Dick; four brothers, William, Vincent, Gordon and Cecil; and parents William and Elizabeth Kirsch, preceded her in death.
Memorials may be made to the Hillside Fellowship Free Methodist Church fund for disadvantaged children.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Gilliland Cemetery in Sweet Home.
