Loren Lee Henderson, 59, of Rogue River died Aug. 29 at his home.
Loren was born in Fort Bragg, Calif. In 1961 he moved from Fort Bragg to Grants Pass. He attended Grants Pass High School. In his adult life he worked as a mechanic. He married Karen Ganoung, who preceded him in death.
He was a member of ASE Certified Mechanics.
His hobbies included classic cars and muscle cars and he enjoyed going to car shows. He enjoyed the outdoors and being around his family and friends.
Loren is survived by his parents, Floyd and Anne Henderson of Grants Pass; four sisters, Jacqueline Heer of Albany, Gayle Sorensen of Selma, Mayra Kehr of LaGrande and Mary King of Grants Pass; three brothers, Clarke Henderson of Rocklin, Calif., and Robert and John Henderson, both of Grants Pass; eight nieces and nephews; and eight great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen, and younger brother, Tommy Henderson.
A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Allen Creek Neighborhood Church, 922 W. Harbeck Road in Grants Pass. Private interment will be at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens.
