Richard Lee Walker, 14, of Sweet Home died Saturday at Doernbecher's Hospital in Portland.

He was born in Lebanon to Richard and Sharon (Williams) Walker in 1991.

Richard lived in Sweet Home his entire life. There he touched the lives of many people with his innocent love for everyone. Richard loved movies, hamburgers, fishing and watching The Crocodile Hunter. He loved everyone and was always ready with a high five or a hand shake.

He is survived by parents Richard and Sharon Walker of Sweet Home; grandpa and grandma Nies of Sweet Home; brother Kenny Blacketer of Salem; and sisters Sharon Miller of Moreno Valley, Calif., and Cindy Jones of Sweet Home.

A viewing will be from 9 a.m. to noon Monday at Workman & Steckly Funeral Chapel, with services following at 2 p.m. at the Community Chapel. Internment will be at Gilliland Cemetery.
