Norma L. Arrington, 77, of Sweet Home died Saturday at the Mennonite Home in Albany.
She was born in Poplar Bluff, Mo., to Oda L. and Marie A. (Medres) Wheeling.
Norma married Ed Ellis in 1947. They moved Oregon in 1955, settling in Toledo. Norma and Ed divorced in 1969. She married John Arrington in 1979, they divorced in 1982.
Norma worked for Pacific Northwest Bell from 1957 until retiring in 1985. She lived in Toledo, Eugene, Medford and Salem before moving to Sweet Home seven years ago.
She enjoyed crossword puzzles and reading.
She is survived by her son, Don Ellis, of Sweet Home; daughter Linda Brown and husband Jim of Sweet Home; brothers Lee Wheeling and wife Ulrika of Corvallis, Bob Wheeling of Sweet Home, Ted Wheeling and wife Pat of Clatskanie, and Bill Wheeling of Toledo; sisters Doris Roach of Newport, Ruby Henson of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Glenda Jackson and husband Louis of Yuma, Ariz., Margie McDaniel and husband Bob of Buffalo, N.Y., Debbie Settlemier of Sodaville, and Cindy Cray and husband Kevin of North Tonawanda, N.Y.; three grandchildren Kelley Ellis, Ed Brown, and Tina Kittel and husband Josh; and three great-grandchildren Sierra, Amanda, and Christopher.
Norma was preceded in death by her sister, Martha Wheeling, and her parents.
