Gust John Noni Jr., 64, of Lebanon died Aug. 27 in Denver, Colo.
Gust was born in Carlisle, Pa., raised in western New York and attended college at State University of New York Brockport where he got a bachelor's degree in psychology and literature. He was in the Army and then the reserves from 1969 to 1975. He had two sons, Tige and Jason, with first wife Shirley.
Gust worked for 18 years in the Department for Human Welfare for the state of New York in Rochester, N.Y. He moved to Atlanta, Ga., in 1994 and worked in camera shops until he met Sherry and moved to Oregon in 2001.
Sherry and Gust were married in Reno, Nev., on Aug. 14, 2002.
Gust was a member of the American Legion in Lebanon. He enjoyed photography, fishing, baseball, gardening and listening to music.
He is survived by his wife, Sheryl "Sherry" Noni; sons Tige and Jason; step-son Charles Links; daughters-in-law Kathy and Heather Noni; step-daughter Dani Links; brother Doug Noni; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gust John Noni Sr.
A memorial service will take place at a later date.
