Robert Sylvester Ellis, 66, of Sweet Home died Wednesday. He was born in Torrance, Calif., to Sylvester and Sarah (Huffstutler) Ellis.
He was a resident of the Lebanon/Sweet Home area since 1972.
Robert is survived by his wife Alice; mother Sarah Ellis; sons Harold Ellis, Willis Huffstutler and Bill Huffstutler; daughters Bobbie Jackson and Sarah Branson, brothers Michael Ellis and Carl Ellis; sisters Jewel King, Sylvia Highsmith, Shelia Clem; and numerous other children adopted by him; 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, sister Sara Doane, brother John "Jay" Ellis and one great grandson.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lewis Cemetery.
Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling arrangements.
