Cecelia Marie Sandberg, 63, died Sunday in Scio.

She was born to Leo and Margaret Kroll on Nov. 26, 1944, in Little Falls, Minn. The family moved to Oregon in 1951, settling first in Toledo and then Lebanon.

Cecelia married Edmund Sandberg on June 6, 1964, in Salem. She received her LPN and also worked as a CNA and R.A. with the Mennonite Village. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crafts and making Christmas wreaths.

She is survived by her husband, Edmund R. Sandberg of Scio; mother Margaret Kroll of Albany; sons Richard Sandberg of Auburn, Wash., and Robert Sandberg of Reno, Nev.; daughters Diane Gali of Jefferson and Renee Harris of Tacoma, Wash.; brother Arnold Kroll of Lebanon; sisters Louise Gorman of Medford, Judy Ward of Salem, Carol Jordan of Roseburg; Lorraine Ficken of Issaquah, Wash., LaVerne Mance of Auburn and Mary Kroll of Aloha; and six grandchildren.

A service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Scio.

Contributions may be made to Evergreen Hospice or the Mario Pastega House at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center.
