Brower - Leys

Justine Kaye Brower and John Walter Leys are engaged to be married July 18, 2009, at Aspen Hall at Shevlin Park in Bend, with Shari Myers officiating.

Justine, the daughter of George Washington and Marilyn Brower of Bend, is a home health care work for the State of Oregon in Bend.

John, the son of Kenneth Thomas and Karen Sue Leys of Albany, is a graduate student at the University of Phoenix.

Dunn - Riddle

Katia Dunn and Joel Riddle are engaged to be married July 18, 2009, in Forest Grove.

Katia, the daughter of Cory and Pamela Dunn of Albany, graduated from West Albany High School in 1996 and from Reed College in 2000.

Joel, the son of the late Tom Riddle and Linda Riddle of Visalia, Calif., graduated from Redwood High School in 1991 and from Willamette University in 1995.

They both work for National Public Radio in Washington, D.C.

Haley - Rouse

Kara Haley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Randall Haley of Lebanon, and Dale Rouse, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eric Rouse, of Sweet Home are happy to announce their engagement.

Dale and Kara were childhood friends and over the years their friendship turned into love. They got engaged in August of this year.

They are looking forward to their future together and celebrating the love that the Lord has given them with a December wedding, with Dr. John Hannah officiating.

Kara is employed by Haley Construction Company and Dale is employed by Garmin AT.

Sanders - Johnson

Erin Sanders and Bryce Johnson are engaged to be married Dec. 12 at Hillsboro Nazarene Church, with the Rev. Scott Simons officiating.

Erin, the daughter of Lonny and Tobi Sanders of Hillsboro, graduated from Century High School in Hillsboro in 2003. She earned a degree in business administration from Northwest Nazarene University.

Bryce, the son of Troy and Debby Johnson of Albany, graduated from South Albany High School in 2003, and from Northwest Nazarene University with a degree in liberal arts.

Waite-Hughes - Evans

Misty Ann Waite-Hughes and Matthew Byron Evans are engaged to be married Aug. 8, 2009, in Albany.

Misty, the daughter of Timothy and LaVonne Waite of Albany, graduated from Bend High School in 1995.

Matthew, the son of Toni Evans of Albany, graduated from South Albany High School in 2001. He is the assistant produce Manager at the Albany Shop N Kart.
