The American Cancer Society has many programs that benefit research for the treatment and cure of cancer. One of their successful programs is the Relay for Life. Last year the Albany Relay for Life earned more than $118,000, which was used in our fight against cancer.

The governor has just received a report on promoting the use of vehicles that run on fuels other than gas or diesel. The report is heavily aimed at promoting electric vehicles, and it would have been nice if the report had addressed some practical concerns.
