Nothing is "greener" than grass! No one is more environmentally conscious than the Willamette Valley grass seed grower. Many of the family farms in the Willamette Valley have been taking care of the same pieces of land for 100 years.

The Willamette Valley not only produces a huge percentage of the nation and world's grass seed, but the highest quality grass seed in the world! A fact all Oregonians should be proud of, but one that clearly means nothing to everyone who voted for the ban. Anyone opposing field burning does so out a negative perception born from stories of 20 and 30 years ago.

The legislators who voted to raise taxes and cripple Oregon's greenest industry have done nothing but darken the future for Oregon.

All the facts and actual data compiled about the all-natural and organic practice of field burning support the use of the safe and logical tool by farmers in the Willamette Valley.

The clear benefits of the Native American practice of using fire as an all-natural cleanse of grasslands are incontrovertible. Field burning made the world a better place. Banning field burning is a huge environmental step backwards for the whole world!
