The editor is right on the money in his editorial on Monday, June 1, "Transport bill gives us zip."

He complains about how the mid-valley gets nothing from the new highway revenue that will be coming in the form of a gas tax and new license plate fees. (Fees are just another way of saying tax)

What he doesn't mention is that the mid-valley is predominantly Republican and the legislature is Democrat. He also doesn't mention that Frank Morse, our very own beloved "RINO," (Republican in name only) voted for it. That should just go to show that no matter how many times the Republicans vote with the Democrats they are going to come up with the short end of the stick.

The Democrats only care about getting more of our money, not where it goes.
