Saw the picture in Sunday's paper, April 19, page A3, of President Obama and Venezuela's President Chavez and two thoughts immediately came to mind: Hugo Chavez is a much smaller man than President Obama, who he is shaking hands with, yet President Obama is not bending (bowing?) to reach his hand.
The other thought was, how many of you have changed your mind about voting for change? How many are honest enough with themselves to admit it?
Bowing to a Saudi king, not bowing to the queen of England who is much, much shorter than President Obama? We are not a Christian nation? Visiting a mosque yet not having the time to visit Normandy and the graves of American heroes?
Giving the queen of England tapes of his speeches? Blaming America for Mexico's problems? Apologizing to other nations for America's arrogance? Late-term abortions?
No medical treatment for babies who survive an abortion? Sending a gift back to England (bust of Sir Winston Churchill) because "he" did not want it in the White House? Giving the prime minister of England 20 DVDs that he couldn't play if he wanted to? Not using a teleprompter for "his" speeches until it was learned yes, he did?
Trillions of dollars in debt? Of course that was President Bush's fault. Oh, wait. Two years ago we weren't that much in debt, but then the Democrats took over the House and Senate and then we went into debt. No, still Bush's fault.
Change? You are getting it. Thanks a lot.
