PORTLAND - Chase Reynolds rushed for 160 yards and three touchdowns to lead No. 5 Montana to a 29-12 victory over Portland State in Big Sky Conference action on Saturday.
The Grizzlies (9-1, 5-1) now must beat Idaho State next Saturday and Montana State the following week to ensure another trip to the national playoffs.
Portland State (3-6, 2-4) managed to stay close for nearly three quarters, but the visiting Grizzlies proved to be more than the Vikings could handle down the stretch.
Portland State closed Montana's lead to 16-12 when Raymond Fry caught a 38-yard touchdown pass from Drew Hubel midway through the third period.
Hubel led Portland State with 9 of 21 passing for 172 yards, but also threw three interceptions.

SALEM - Senior quarterback Grant Leslie threw for 285 yards and five touchdowns to lead 10th-ranked Willamette over the University of Puget Sound at McCulloch Stadium in the Northwest Conference game.
The Bearcats (9-0, 5-0), clinched the NWC's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Playoffs.
WU also clinched at least at tie for the NWC Championship. With one game remaining in the regular season, only Linfield (4-1) can tie the Bearcats for the title. WU defeated Linfield 52-28 on Oct. 25.
W. Oregon 17, Linfield 9
McMINNVILLE - Overcoming a total yards deficit of over 100 yards, Western Oregon overcame a spirited effort from underdog Linfield to beat the Wildcats at rain-swept Maxwell Field.
The NCAA Division III Wildcats missed multiple opportunities in the game.

Western Oregon improved to 7-4 overall while Linfield dropped to 5-3.
The Wildcats opened up the scoring in the sixth minute of the ballgame. After stopping Western Oregon on its first possession of the game, Linfield executed a six-play, 77-yard drive to take a 6-0 lead.
South Dakota 37, Southern Oregon 0
VERMILLION, S.D. - South Dakota scored 31 points in the first quarter and cruised to the victory over Southern Oregon.
South Dakota (5-4) wasted no time getting things going against the Raiders (3-6), who finish the season at Eastern Oregon on Nov. 15.
The Coyotes scored on their first five possessions and six of their first seven.
