EUGENE(AP) - Oregon football coach Mike Bellotti made $1.9 million for the 2007 season under a contract that was amended last fall, the Eugene Register-Guard reported.

Bellotti made $650,000 in salary, supplements and deferred compensation, $447,500 in incentives and $806,992 because of a clause tied to ticket sales, the newspaper reported. Total compensation was $1,934,492.

In September, Bellotti and athletic director Pat Kilkenny agreed to an amendment, raising incentives from a minimum of $100,000 to $447,500. University officials said the terms had not yet drafted or signed.

But in December, after Bellotti talked to UCLA about the head coaching vacancy there, Kilkenny said the two had put the terms in writing.

The new incentive clause raises Bellotti's minimum guaranteed compensation from $750,000 to $1,127,500.

Bellotti's salary is funded by the athletics department.

Details about Bellotti's compensation were provided by the university after the Register-Guard submitted a public records request.
