Quarterbacks
A-
Sean Canfield continued his stellar season. He threw for two touchdowns and ran for another. Passing game carried the offense.
Running backs
C
Cal stuffed the run game so Jacquizz Rodgers wasn't dominant like usual. He did what he could and Ryan McCants was a good backup.
Wide receivers
A-
TE Joe Halahuni had another big game, earning more calls where he's the primary receiver. The regular receivers were efficient.
Offensive line
B
There was plenty of time to pass for the Canfield, but the running lanes were hard to find. All the good runs were to the outside.
Defensive line
B+
Playing DEs Gabe Miller and Matt LaGrone more made a difference in pressure. Stephen Paea was a monster in the middle.
Linebackers
A
Keaton Kristick was an animal rushing the passer and stuffing the run. The Beavers contained Cal's powerful running game all night.
Secondary
B
The coverage was a little soft over the middle with several mid-range passes allowed, but overall coverage was consistent.
Special teams
B
Kicking game had no major hitches. The coverage teams contained Cal and the return game gave the offense decent to good field position.
Coaching
A
The offense calls adapted quickly when the running game wasn't there, and the defense was ready for what Cal did. Overall good preparation.
