Matt McHenry (West Albany) had an interception return for 39 yards Saturday in Mendocino's 71-39 home loss at Sacramento (Calif.) City College.

McHenry also had one carry for three yards, five solo tackles and three assists.

Teammate Robbie Zaina (Lebanon) had four solo tackles and five assists.

Ali Krebs (Lebanon) had 27 assists, seven digs and one block assist Saturday in Southern Virginia's three-set sweep at Virginia Intermont in Bristol.

The same day, Krebs had 20 assists, one dig and one block assist in a three-set win against Johnson Bible at Virginia Intermont.

Friday, Land had four kills, one service ace and a dig in a three-set loss at College of Idaho in Caldwell.

Men's cross country

Corban's Caleb Goins (East Linn Christian) was second in Saturday's Warner Pacific Invitational at Lents Park in Portland.

He finished the 8,000-meter (3.1-mile) course in 25 minutes, 35 seconds.

Corban was second of five teams.

George Fox's Cameron Eberhart (West Albany) was 51st in Saturday's Concordia/Puma Classic at Fernhill Park in Portland.

He completed the 4-mile race in 21:43.

George Fox was 10th of 11 teams.

Corban's Antony Earley (South Albany) was 146th in Saturday's Santa Clara Invite in Sunnyvale, Calif.

He finished the 8,000-meter course in 27:56.

Bethany fielded an incomplete team.

Women's cross country

Corban's Amy Renfro (East Linn Christian) was eighth in Saturday's Warner Pacific Invitational at Lents Park in Portland.

Renfro completed the 5,000-meter (3.1-mile) course in 19 minutes, 49 seconds.

Corban was third of five teams.

Portland State's Stephanie Deever (West Albany) was 18th in in Friday's Mike Hodges Invitational in Oregon City.

She finished the 5,000-meter course in 18:52.

Pacific's Amanda Basham was 29th in 19:17.

Oregon State's Cassandra Schumacher (East Linn Christian/Sweet Home) was 59th in 20:02, and teammate and sister Kambria Schumacher (East Linn Christian/Sweet Home) was close behind in 60th in 20:05.

Portland State was fifth and Pacific eighth of 12 teams. Oregon State fielded an incomplete team.
