Football

Robbie Zaina (Lebanon) ran for a 2-yard touchdown Saturday in Mendocino's 40-39 home win against American River in Ukiah, Calif.

On defense, Zaina had four solo tackles and two assists. He was credited with 1.5 tackles for four yards lost and a half-tackle for three yards.

Teammate Matt McHenry (West Albany) had two solo tackles.

Brandon Martin (Sweet Home had one solo tackle - for a 1-yard loss - in Whitworth's 14-10 home loss to Menlo in Spokane, Wash.

Volleyball

Tiffany Land (Santiam Christian) had seven kills, one service ace, nine digs, one stuff block and six block assists Saturday in Corban's five-set home win against Warner Pacific.

Friday, Land had 11 kills, four aces, one assist, three digs, one stuff block and one block assist in a five-set home loss to Concordia.

Chelsea Hartman (Lebanon) had eight kills Friday in Southern Oregon's three-set home sweep of Oregon Tech in Ashland.

Kalyssa Koontz (Santiam Christian) had four kills, one dig, one stuff block and one block assist Saturday in Northwest Christian's four-set home loss to Concordia.

Lindsey Bohard (West Albany) had one kill and one block assist Saturday in Eastern Oregon's three-set win at Evergreen State in Olympia, Wash.

Women's cross country

Oregon State's Cassandra Schumacher (East Linn Christian/Sweet Home) was 26th in Saturday's Beaver Classic at Avery Park in Corvallis.

She completed the 6,000-meter (3.7-mile) course in 23 minutes, 20 seconds.

Pacific's Amanda Basham (Pacific) was 30th in 23:28, Oregon State's Kambria Schumacher (East Linn Christian/Sweet Home) 51st in 24:12 and Corban's Amy Renfro (East Linn Christian) 69th in 25:08.

Oregon State finished third, Corban 10th and Pacific 11th of 15 teams.

Eastern Oregon's Sierra Engler (Lebanon) was 18th in the Coyote Twilight on Oct. 22 in Caldwell, Idaho.

She finished the 5,000-meter (3.1-mile) course in 19:15.

Eastern Oregon was second of three complete teams.

Men's cross country

Corban's Caleb Goins (East Linn Christian) was 64th in Saturday's Beaver Classic at Avery Park in Corvallis.

He finished the 8,000-meter (5-mile) course in 27 minutes, 27 seconds.

Corban was eighth of 19 teams.
