Volleyball
Northeastern JC sophomore hitter Addi Radke (Santiam Christian) has signed to play at Kansas State.
Radke, a former Oregon high school state player of the year from Corvallis, led NJC in kills and helped the Plainswomen reach the junior college national tournament.
She was selected to the All-Region IX Team and is in the running for all-American honors when those are announced in December.
"Addi is a tremendous role model and all of the kids look up to her," said NJC coach Marci Henry. "She has really elevated her level of play while at NJC and I'm excited that she gets to play volleyball at the Division I level. I think she is going into a very good program where she will see a lot of playing time."

Alesha Deesing (Santiam Christian) had seven kills and seven block assists Friday in Washington's four-game home win against Oregon in Seattle.
Two days earlier, Deesing had nine kills, one assist, one stuff block and two block assists in a three-game home sweep of Oregon State.
Washington hosts Missouri on Friday night in the first round of the NCAA tournament.
Men's basketball
Brian Freeman (West Albany) had 10 points, nine rebounds and five assists Monday in Long Beach State's 84-69 loss at Washington in Seattle.
Freeman had 12 points, seven rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal Nov. 21 in a 92-81 loss at Pepperdine in Malibu, Calif.

Tyler Roberts (West Albany) had eight points, four assists and three steals Saturday in Northwest Nazarene's 75-69 home win against Pacific in Nampa, Idaho.

Ben Sisler (Santiam Christian) had eight points, one rebound, three assists and two steals Saturday in Corban's 77-70 home loss to Lewis & Clark in Salem.
Friday, Sisler had a team-high 22 points, six rebounds, two assists, two blocks and two steals in a 108-99 home win against William Jessup.

Jordan Jantzi (Lebanon) had six points, three rebounds and an assist Saturday in Hesston's 106-73 home win against Bethel JV in Hesston, Kan.
Friday, Jantzi had seven points, three rebounds, one assist and one steal in a 67-61 home win against North Central Missouri.
Football
Whitworth sophomore defensive tackle Brandon Martin (Sweet Home) was named to the Northwest Conference's first-team defense.
Martin had season totals of 13 tackles, 32 assists, 1.5 sacks, four pass break-ups and two kickoff returns for 29 yards.
Whitworth finished 8-2 overall, 6-0 in conference.

Matt Slauson (Sweet Home) started at offensive right guard Friday in Nebraska's season-ending 65-51 loss at Colorado in Boulder.
