Santiam Christian announced the hiring of Dave Lange as the school's new football coach on Wednesday.

Lange was a first-team all-state player in Hawaii and played collegiately at Linfield College. He has been involved in coaching Pop Warner and Boys and Girls Club teams over the past four years.

Lange takes over for Steve Woods, who resigned as the Santiam Christian coach in February following seven seasons as the head coach.
