Several mid-valley teams will take part in state playoff games this weekend or early next week.
In addition, the state cross country championships will be held Saturday in Eugene.

Boys soccer
West Albany at Klamath Union
The Bulldogs, the No. 4 seed from the Mid-Willamette Conference, will play the Pelicans, the No. 3 seed from the Southern Sky Conference, at 2 p.m. Saturday.
The winner advances to play at Glencoe on Tuesday.
Santiam Christian at Umatilla
The Eagles, the No. 2 seed from Special District 4, will play the Vikings, the second seed from Special District 5, on Tuesday.
Girls soccer
West Albany at Ashland
The Bulldogs, the No. 2 seed from the Mid-Willamette Conference, will travel south to play the Grizzlies, the top seed from the Southern Sky Conference, on Tuesday.
The winner of this contest has a good chance of hosting a home game on Saturday, Nov. 14.
North Bend at Sweet Home
The Huskies, the No. 2 seed from Special District 4, host the Bulldogs, the No. 3 seed from Special District 3, at 2 p.m. Saturday.
The winner will play at Gladstone on Tuesday.
Volleyball
West Albany at Crater
The Bulldogs, the No. 2 seed from the Mid-Willamette Conference, travel to play the Comets, the No. 2 seed from the Southern Sky Comets at 6 p.m. Saturday.
The winner advances to the eight-team state tournament next weekend at Liberty High School in Hillsboro.
Warrenton at Santiam Christian
The Eagles, the top seed from the PacWest Conference, host the Warriors, the No. 3 seed from the Lewis & Clark Conference, at 6 p.m. Saturday.
The winner advances to the eight-team state tournament next weekend at Lane Community College in Eugene.
